VISIT ABERDEEN - HOW TO GET HERE

By Car: The A90/M90 links Aberdeen to Dundee and Edinburgh, while the A96 connects Aberdeen to Elgin and Inverness.

By Coach: Use National Express, Citylink or even Megabus.

By Train: For Aberdeen train tickets, use The Trainline website.

By Plane: Aberdeen Airport is situated 7 miles north-west of the city centre. For flight deals to and from Aberdeen airport, try the Skyscanner.net website.

ABERDEEN ATTRACTIONS - WHAT TO SEE & DO

Aberdeen’s must-see visitor attraction is probably the award-winning Aberdeen Maritime Mueum. Other attractions include the Gordon Highlanders Military Museum and the Aberdeen Art Gallery.

[Note: Also worth visiting is Aberdeen University’s Marischal Museum (home to 80,000 artifacts in the fields of fine art, Scottish history and European  archaeology). However, it is currently closed for building works - until summer 2010 at least].

Football fans should try watching a home match at Aberdeen Football Club.

Special events including concerts are regularly held at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre (AECC).

Plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs can also be found in the city centre.
